Adam's Week 4 Predictions

The NFC has taken a strangle hold on the AFC teams as a whole. There is still one unbeaten team left the newcomers Them Bastards, appropriate name for them since the league is calling them just that. Broker Hymens still winless and the remaining teams are 2-1 in the nfc and 1-2 in the afc. This week teams will look for a win heading into divisional play when everything will begin to take shape and get tight.

Game of the week- Them Bastards vs Queen Citys Finest. This is the only match up this week with two winning teams going head to head. Them Bastards looking for the 4-0 mark to hit divisional play as Finest looking for a 3-1 record to hopefully stay in the top of the division. Finest have been apart of two close games this year and coming up on top both times if this game gets close look for the Finest to hand Them Bastards their first loss 145-140 QCF.

Sardinia Shutzstaffel takes on Eagle Blissfully Cute this weekend in the past these have been good games but this year the SS cannot pull through in tight games back to back weeks they have came short. Will this weekend they finally have the answers to pull through and stay even on the season. In a weak div SS could afford a loss this weekend and make it up through the div play but look for the SS to join the 500 club with a 130-125 win.

The Third Frank Reich vs Enforcers this week. The defending champions finally have a win and the Enforcers took their first lost over the weekend. Enforcers have shown they have enough firepower to continue reeking havoc on teams 175-140 Enforcers.

The Dog Game of the Week- Buffalo Maybe Next Year vs Broker Hymens. Will the Hymens finally record there first win of the year? Will BMNY reach the 500 mark? This game should come down to the wire and both teams need a win more so the Hymens. Hymens might finally break there slump in a low scoring 120-116 win. On second thought BMNY takes it 125-120.

After this week we will finally see the div match ups that will make or break seasons over the next 3 weeks.

WEEK 3: Game of the Week

VS.

This week's Game of the Week was billed as "The Battle of the Undeated". Not to be overshadowed by an epic Buffalo Bills win over the New England Patriots, Them Bastards handed 20X11 Enforcers their first loss of the season, 195-134.5.

Like the Bills, the Enforcers were at a huge deficit early in the day. Matthew Stafford (378 yds, 2TD) took the Lions into overtime to finish strong with 29 pts and the always dependable Darren McFadden (171 yds, 2TD) added a powerful punch with 34 pts. Mid-week pickups Rob Gronkowski (25pts) and Morgan Burnett (14pts) also added to the pressure on the Enforcers.
Aaron Rodgers (297 yds, 3TD) had a great on-field performance for 20X11, but finished with 31 pts after throwing an INT. The Enforcers had their worst defensive performance of the year, putting the nail in the coffin on their hopes of going 3-0.
Looks like this years newcomers are having no trouble putting together the pieces for a winning season, according to this writer's unbiased opinion. We should be seeing more of the same in the coming weeks from TB.

Adam's Week 3 Predictions

Exciting start to the new campaign. This week we have the battle of the undefeateds, two battles of 500 teams and finally one team will get a win in the battle of the 0-2 teams. The game of the week is Them Bastards vs Enforcers. Each team is 2-0 and looking to be the only undefeated team left going into the final week of non divisional play. This game will mean everything to these two clubs. The suprising thing about these two teams are that they are 2-0. With experience in this league the Enforcers will get the job done although it will be a tight game throughout. Enforcers 168-159. The second game this week is SS vs Finest both teams are looking to stay above 500 and SS are looking for revenge from last years 3rd place game. SS 138-136. The other battle of 500 teams is BMNY vs Cute. Year changed alot from previous years and is looking to prove to the league they are for real. BMNY should take this in a 143-119 win. Last but not least two teams looking for there first win. Reich vs Hymens, TTFR took a turn for the worst this year looks as if they have a championship hangover so far this season. This will be an ugly low scoring slop fest. Hymens roll for a 114-109 win this week and leave the defending champions wondering what they have to do to finally get the W.

WEEK 2: Game of the Week

VS.

Week 2's Game of the Week came in the form of an asskicking from an underdog. Queen City's Finest were stunned when Buffalo Maybe Next Year handed them a 190-137 loss, earning them this writer's "Red-headed Stepchild" Award.
The last time a Jackson caused this much damage, a little black boy grew up to be a scary white pill addict/child molestor. Hopefully, that kind of lasting effect wont take hold of QC after an abusive 28 point performance by Buffalo's Fred Jackson (117 yds, 2TD). In true Jackson fashion, the abuse continued as San Diego's Vincent Jackson (172 yds, 2TD) went on to rape QC to the tune of 32 points. Less than stellar performances by Phillip Rivers (2 INT) and MJD (88 yds, 0TD) did nothing to stop the onslaught of BMNY.
Hopefully this week, QC can bulk up the defense a little bit (maybe dropping Chris Nield will help). The pick up of Daniel Thomas from waivers might be the spark they need to avoid going sub-.500. BMNY seems to use the mantra "if it aint broke, dont fix it" so we will see if Next Year can pull out another W against Eagle Blissfully Cute.
This week was a Thriller. It got Bad for a few teams, but Thats The Way Love Goes. So Keep Your Head Up QC, next week your team will Come Together and whatever team you play, you'll Beat It. Just remember, You Are Not Alone.

Adam's Week 2 Predictions

Week one had its fair share of shake-ups. Enforcers controlled the tempo throughout the games over the weekend. This week has some matchups that will be entertaining.

First game of the week the battle of the beatens. The Third Frank Reich heads up against Eagle Blissfully Cute. Both teams are looking to get a w this weekend and not go down 0-2. Reich had a close shot last week but came up short. The story is said defense wins championships but in this case if the offense can put the points up this Sunday you could see TTFR take a close game 167-165.

Them Bastards vs Broker Hymans, this should be a blowout Hymans showed up on Monday night but due to there lack of play on Sunday there was no chance. This week Them Bastards will be firing on all cylinders to set their new campaign on a high note 185-125.

Buffalo Maybe Next Year takes on the Queens Citys Finest. Next Year came out a little slugish at the end of the day, wasnt expecting that from this team. This week they will play hard but the Finest have a team that will win a shootout this week. Finest takes it 175-159.

Lastly the battle of the undefeated. This is the only matchup this week with both teams 1-0. They will both need to look for the defense to help win this game. Last week the SS had the best d in the league hopefully they can continue the streak into this weekend. Enforcers will come up short 181-175.

WEEK 1: Game Of The Week

VS.

Its the first week of the season and already we have seen blowouts, comebacks, and tight matchups. None, however, were as closely matched as the showdown between Queen City's Finest and The Third Frank Reich.
Sunday afternoon saw Queen City take an early lead, thanks to underwhelming performances by Matt Ryan (31/47, 319 yds, fum) and Jamaal Charles (10 carries for 59 yds, 1 rec TD). With the impressive play of Calvin "Megatron" Johnson and LeSean McCoy, Reich saw light at the end of the gameday tunnel.
With just Monday night looming, Reich clutched the lead in a race that was tighter than when he used to wear his sisters jeans. But with Brandon Marshall and Pat Chung still yet to play for the Finest, victory was anything but guaranteed.
Chung racked up 9 tackles. Marshall pulled in 7 grabs for 139 yds. Von Miller and Brandon Lloyd had decent nights for Denver, but it just wasn't quite enough to let Reich hold on. It was a fun contest to follow and ended in a W for QC by a 2.5pt margin. Props to both teams, but this writer would like to give most props to Finest's co-owner Wyatt Nadolny, as I am sure most of the team's transactions this week were a product of his football finesse.
